When a customer places an order on your Shopify store, Shopify processes the payment through your chosen payment gateway. After the payment has been approved and processed, Shopify schedules a payout. The payout is the total payment from your customer, minus any transaction fees associated with your chosen payment gateway.

This payout is then transferred directly into the bank account you've linked to your Shopify store. The time it takes for the funds to appear in your bank account can vary depending on your bank and the payment gateway you've selected. Typically, it can range from 24 hours to a few business days.

Once Shopify completes the payout and the entire payment is deposited into your bank account, MagicSoaps initiates its fee collection process. To facilitate this, you'll need to have an authorized card on file with MagicSoaps. The fees collected by MagicSoaps cover the production and shipping costs of the order.

After the order is fulfilled, MagicSoaps calculates the total cost for production and shipping. This amount is then automatically charged to the card you've added to your MagicSoaps account. It's essential to ensure that the card on file has sufficient funds to cover these fees to avoid any disruptions in your order processing.

Shopify's payout encompasses the entire payment made by your customer, including the cost of the product, any taxes, and shipping fees. However, the production and shipping of the product are handled by MagicSoaps, not Shopify.

To cover the costs associated with producing and shipping the order, MagicSoaps collects a separate fee after the Shopify payout. This ensures a streamlined process where Shopify manages the front-end transaction with your customer, and MagicSoaps takes care of the back-end fulfillment. By separating these fees, merchants have a clearer understanding of their revenue from sales and the associated costs with fulfilling those sales through MagicSoaps.
